Life isn’t always what we think it is

Do you really believe what you believe is true?

Now before you go running with a million thoughts of why I would ask such a question, this can be the question that changes your life from this day forward.

The fact is….

Most people never take the time to give it any consideration as to
why they are getting the results they are getting in life
Which why it has been said an unexamined life isn’t worth living.
It order for you to get past where you are, you must look at why
you have the belief system you are currently working with

Your life really depends on it…

You can have two exact same people, with the same abilities and end up
with entirely different results. Why? Because their belief systems are different.

And the scary thing is…

Most people are more interested in defending what they know, rather then
discovering who they are. It is human nature to want to protect what we believe
is right. But we never consider where or how we got our belief system.

Let me give you an example….

When I was a child, my parents always use to make comments about not having money, or being wealthy was a bad thing. It took many years of failing before I discovered why I kept having success and then would loose it. Subconsciously I didn’t want to disappoint my parents. I wanted to become the person they thought was bad.

This is the true test…..

When I ask do you really want to be successful? and you say with an resounding “YES”, do your actions validate it? This isn’t a question about being a good person, this is about how you see yourself.

Do you know how we form a belief?

I really want you to think about that question. Being rigorously honest with yourself is the most important thing in order to have huge success. If I asked you, “how well would a business succeed if it never took inventory?” you obvious answer would there would be no way it would succeed

Then why would you expect anything different of yourself?

What forms a belief is experience. Things that have happened in your past. And what determines how strong those beliefs are depends on three things; Authority, intensity and repetition. If you had a parent, not knowing how impactful they were, continuously told you, “why don’t act like your brother?” in a very loud tone of voice and said it often, what do you think that is going to do to your self image?

This is not easy stuff to look at, but…..

If you want success, you have to find out what is standing in your way. A great place to start is to read Psycho-Cybernetics. This will start you thinking about some of these things. See it is not what happens to us that determines who we are, but rather, how we respond to what has happened to us. I have been in the self -development field for over 20 years. Not because I wanted to in the beginning, but because I didn’t want to die. I started out recovering from addictions. And I don’t care who you are, everyone has things they have stuck in the closet and said there is no way I can let anyone know that about me

And guess what….

Until you accept all of who you are, true success will elude you. Each and everyone of us has so much potential I think it would make us tremble if it recognized it all at once.

Let me sign off with this….

Your growth determines who you are. And if you are someone who wants what life really has to offer, then you will become a student for life.
Who you are determines who you attract. So become the best you can become, not only for you, but for the world.
Who you attract determines the success you will have. Be a student of opportunity and never let anyone steal your dreams

If you buy someone’s opinion, you take on their life style. So be very selective in who you seek to get advice
